I truly LOVED bedside L&D nursing, however I was craving more of a long term connection with the amazing women and families I was serving. And lets be real... I could do with less charting, less intervention, and more focus on serving the women in front of me without policies and rules governing my care. I do not only want to help you birth your baby into this world, but walk along side you throughout your pregnancy and into postpartum!

Hello, I’m Mariana! I’m a wife, boy mama, former labor and delivery nurse, and doula. I am passionate about supporting mama’s and their partners physically and emotionally on their journey through pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Giving birth is the most monumental moment in a woman’s life as they go from a woman to a mama and welcome a new life into this world. 

 I am honored and blessed to play a small part of such a special moment in a mothers life. I want to empower women throughout their birth journey to know that their bodies were designed to do this! 

Hi. I'm Larissa! I am a mom to Lady, my nine year old Yorkshire Terrier! As a registered nurse who has specialized in labor & delivery for 3+ years, I have assisted many mothers and their partners in welcoming their little miracles into the world. Wanting the experience to be even more personal, I obtained my Doula training through the Academy of Certified Birth Trainers. I am a certified labor support professional as well as a certified breastfeeding educator!

Being kind, compassionate, and open-minded are key morals for me and I would love to help you have an informed and empowering birth experience. During my free time you will find my fiancé and I at local sporting events or at home watching the game. I love to cheer on my teams and would love to be there to cheer, guide, and advocate for you during your birth experience!

Hi! I’m Anna- a proud wife, mom, artist, and Certified Birth Doula. My passion as a doula is for women to feel educated and empowered rather than apprehensive as they approach their birth. Labor is an endurance event, but with the right information and team by your side, you can approach it without fear! I spent seven years in the corporate world directing teams and software strategies via data analysis and research. 

It was a complete leap of faith for me to leave that behind to follow my passion for birth, which I discovered through the birth of my own daughter. I can honestly say being a labor doula has been the most satisfying job I’ve had (besides being a mom!). Like my career move, following your gut is rule number one for your pregnancy, labor, and motherhood. You know what is best for you and your baby, and it would be my honor to walk alongside you in your journey towards your birth!

Hi, I’m Liz! I'm a wife, mama to 2 boys, and a certified labor and birth doula in Charlotte, NC. I am incredibly passionate about empowering and educating women so that they understand how much their bodies and minds are capable of. It is my desire for every woman to be informed and supported during pregnancy so that she can have a positive birth experience. There is nothing that brings me greater joy than supporting mamas and their partners through pregnancy, labor, and birth.

My passion for pregnancy and birth began when I was a teenager. Ever since, I’ve consumed every birth book, article, podcast, and documentary that I could get my hands on. I worked in the corporate world for nine years before finally following my heart and diving into birthwork. The doulas that I hired to support me were integral to my births being two of the most powerful, transformative experiences of my life, and it is an honor every time that I'm able to support other mamas in that way. When I’m not talking about pregnancy, labor, and birth, you can find hanging with my husband and boys, listening to live music, or spending time with girlfriends.

Hi, I am Adelle! I am a wife, mother of 5, and former labor & delivery nurse of more than 15 years! I served as a labor and delivery nurse in the United States Air Force for 7 of those years. Since leaving the military, I’ve continued my career as a nursing instructor, floor nurse, and now doula. During that time, I helped so many mothers and families through their ups and downs, joys and even heartbreak. Even as a trained nurse, I can remember wanting to reach out and ask others if everything was normal and okay. 

Now, I enjoy the chance to be the trusted source of information and care that you, as a new (or repeat!) mother may need during this time. Becoming a doula has allowed me to have the best part of my nursing job: bonding with my patients and advocating for their needs. Hello, my name is Diamond! I am a nurse, mom, and Certified Birth Doula. My fascination with birth began in my childhood. Growing up around farms I was surrounded by animal birth and it didn't take long for me to wonder why human birth often wasn't left as undisturbed and embraced as animal birth was. Through nursing school I loved getting to support women in bringing new life into the world, but frequently wished I'd had the opportunity to make sure they were empowered and educated before arriving at their birth .

This led me to becoming a doula! As a birth doula my goal is to make sure you feel educated, empowered and prepared to strive for the birth you've always dreamed of.
